V&A Project

Assignment Description Influences on Architecture, Music & Statues. Description - Design a series of A3 posters to promote a new exhibition at the V&A. In the gallery below I have shown the progression of my design through early concept, research, thumbnail ideas, early mockups. finished design and a representation of the posters in situ. I really enjoyed coming up with these designs, they work well as a set. The common features tie them together especially the burnt V&A emblem, it's subtle yet still instantly recognisable as the museum's logo. If I revisited this project I would add more buildings to the architecture design, I would scale the building better and arrange them to bring the eye down more to the information. I think this is also the same for the music poster. I feel more diversity in the artist and to scale them to look more imposing. Upon reflection, there are noticeable gaps between them on the righthand side.
